Ball Transfer Tables

  • Used To Re-orient Travel Direction Of Boxes, Cartons, Totes, Etc.
  • Or To Manually Transfer Items In Multiple Directions.
  • Available In Straight And Curved Sections With Various Ball Centers
  • Also Available As A Pneumatic Table For Assembly Applications Where There Is A Need To Transfer Product And Then Lower To Table Height For The Stability Of Work, Then Raise Product And Transfer Back Onto The Conveyor System.
  • Decreases Worker Fatigue, Improves Job Efficiency.
  • Heavy Load Of Object Is Equally Distributed Among Ball Transfer Units
  • Allows Smooth, Uninterrupted Fast, Precise And Easy Movement Across The Table
  • Assembly Is Simple As It Only Requires Fastening Of Ball Transfer Units On To The Table With Holes.
  • Ball Transfer Conveyors/Tables Can Be Manufactured With Either Carbon Steel Powder Coat Painted Frames, Or Stainless Steel Frames, With The Choice Of Either Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel Or Nylon Balls.
Parts For Ball Transfer Tables
Ball Transfer Unit Consists Of Load Ball And A Number Of Small Supporting Balls Mounted In A Shell. This Design Allows Load Ball To Rotate With Low Friction In All Directions. Heavy Loads Can Be Easily Moved Without Much Effort. For Smooth Conveying-Transfer Of Goods With A Smooth And Load-Bearing Underside. Very Low Frictional Resistance. Enable Transport In All Directions. Load Capacities Between 8 And 610 Kg. Ball Diameter From 15 To 45 mm. Ball Made Of Steel, Stainless Steel Or Nylon. Screwed, Riveted Or Fixed With Clips.
Ball Cup Rollers Are Attached And Secured To A Carrier Plate With Clips Flanged Ball Rollers Are Attached By Means Of Rivets Or Screws
Pitch / Distance Between Ball Transfer Units Depends On Length, Width And Transport Direction Of Goods. Narrow Pitches Generally Arranged In Diagonal (Offset Pitch) Ball Transfer Units To Have Twice Number Of Ball Transfer Units Under Material To Be Conveyed In One Conveying Direction. Optimum Pitch (Ball Transfer Unit Distance) For Stable Transport Calculated By Smallest Base Dimension Of Material To Be Conveyed Divided By 3.5. Example 700 mm Edge Length / 3.5 = 200 mm Is The Smallest Pitch.
When Transporting Round Materials And Pipes, Only Point Loads Occur. Ball Transfer Units Are Therefore Particularly Suitable For Smaller Diameters And Small Installation Spaces.
